In Case You're Interested: What I did was... The challenge in this graphic was in finding decent source photos of the Dell interns, but I ultimately decided that it suits the point of the article to make them generic, cookie-cutter icons. The true personality, of course, remains the "Dell-dude", who was an easy caricature. The background was done both in illustrator (for the cartoon parts) and photoshop (for the title, lightning, and sky effects).
