| Found a photo of an American flag and placed it - in Photoshop - over a posterized and color-adjusted desert shot. Then tweaked the heck out of the flag photo with the posterizing filter and various layer effects in Photoshop until arriving at the version you see in the final background. |

| Pretty straightforward here: I assembled 3 headshots of our heroes, drew over them in photoshop using a tablet (exagerrating features here and there, simplifying for the most part)... |
| Lastly I ran the psd through Adobe Streamline for the final line-art. I find Streamline to be a great graphic illustration tool for this sort of thing. |
